With a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Mahajanga and specialized training in maxillofacial surgery from the University of Antananarivo, Dr. Raotoson is not only a leader in his field but also a mentor, educator, and advocate for accessible cleft care. Through his work with Smile Train, he ensures that the next generation of surgeons is equipped to continue this life-changing mission. The Smile Train Scholarship application is now LIVE! This scholarship will award four applicants $5,000 each for their studies. The College Scholarship Program is available to all cleft-affected US-based high school seniors. Interested students should fill out the application below and write short essays on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and how being cleft-affected has impacted their lives. Last week, our annual virtual global staff meeting served as a powerful reminder of the passion and vision that fuel the work we do at Smile Train.
