Happy Thanksgiving! The Washington Informer had a great time at Safeway’s Feast of Sharing at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center yesterday, engaging with and giving back to the community ahead of the holiday. This year was particularly special as it was the 25th anniversary of the event. Check out this package below, featuring Safeway CEO Tom Lofland, Events DC CEO Angie Gates as well as representatives from the Salvation Army National Capital Area, D.C. Fire and EMS, and The Informer, as well as local students.
