Dr Ying Sng, Lecturer for Effective Instruction of Reading and Spelling has shared her good to great goal, which we think is brilliant, not just great. She says there is growing awareness about the effectiveness of explicit instruction, so the next step is to help teachers implement effective teaching strategies in their classroom. Our goal is to bring awareness of how explicit instruction complements student learning and offer practical and engaging strategies so you can confidently implement them for your context or subject area. As we sprint to the finish for the year, we took the time to ask some of our colleagues what their good to great goal is for 2025.
