Komen 3-Day Walk in San Diego. Walking alongside her team, Feet to Beat Breast Cancer, Beth completed an awe-inspiring 60-mile journey over three days. This year’s San Diego event brought together 1,850 walkers, 340 crew members, and raised an extraordinary $6.4 million to support breast cancer advocacy, research, treatment, and care. 💗🎗️ For Beth, this walk wasn’t just about the miles—it was a deeply personal journey of reflection and unity. A breast cancer survivor since 2006, she found inspiration and healing in the powerful energy of the Pink Bubble®, surrounded by individuals whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. This year’s Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and connection. It marked the 27th edition for organizer Andrea Perkins, who continues to embrace the tradition. Our table was brimming with an incredible variety of dishes, blending beloved traditional Thanksgiving favorites with unique international flavors. Each dish reflected the rich diversity within our AJC family and brought a story of its own to the celebration.   More than just a meal, this gathering reminded us of the importance of coming together to share, laugh, and appreciate one another. It was a true reflection of the values that unite us—gratitude, collaboration, and a deep sense of belonging.   A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—whether you cooked, helped organize, or simply joined in the festivities. Every morning, one of our team members, usually Josiane or Camila, prepares Chimarrão, a cherished tradition in Rio Grande do Sul. This style of Yerba Mate isn’t just a drink; it’s a ritual of connection. Shared from a “cuia” (gourd) and “bomba” (filtered straw), it represents acceptance, friendship, and community. With a diverse team of 20+ professionals across Marketing, Operations, Accounting, and Commercial teams, our Porto Alegre office reflects the spirit of our collaborative team. Many of our colleagues also speak Spanish and English, adding even more ways of connecting with the rest of AJC. The Sandwich Project, a nonprofit devoted to addressing food scarcity across Metro Atlanta, works tirelessly to support our community, and we’re honored to join them in this effort. These sandwiches were distributed to homeless shelters in downtown Atlanta, providing nourishment and support to those in need. 💙 At AJC, we believe that small acts of kindness can create powerful change.
