#SPAMALERT Corbin Barnes <corbinbarnes@theamegroupcareers.com> IS FAKE. There seems to be a mass email spamming about a remote security analyst position. We are not sending bulk emails about job postings. We post the jobs on LinkedIn and we email directly people who have expressed interest in working for our company. Go through our job posting page to view current positions. It also has a place at the bottom to "Share your Information" to show your interest in future positions.

CMMC has been a long and at times crazy journey. We’ve helped many strengthen their security to gain government contracts and position themselves for #CMMC success. Protecting our intellectual property and businesses is vital for our economy and national security. Thank you for this summary, Robert Metzger
Rogers Joseph O'Donnell | JD | LinkedIn "Top Voice" | 2025 Lexology “ClIent Choice” Winner | 2024 Lawdragon 500 Cyber | Federal 100 Winner | Board Member | Expert Witness | Cyber, SCRM and National Security Specialist
I've put together a 1-page chart that shows the history of #CMMC. On the chart, there are many live links to help you access underlying source materials. Think about it. More than 14 years ago, President Obama recognized a need to improve the security of Controlled Unclassified Information (#CUI). The first DFARS contract requirement to safeguard CUI as final twelve (12) years ago today. CMMC (v 1.0) was announced during the Trump Administration in September 2020. It evolved to 2.0 during the Biden Administration. The recently finalized CMMC "Program Rule" will take effect during the next Trump Administration, barring the unexpected. My point: adversaries, led by China, have stolen a trove of valuable IP and defense data, year-over-year, injuring national security as well as enterprise value. Industries have not stanched the bleeding when "trusted" to do what is smart, right, or even what is required contractually. That is why we need CMMC to enforce security upon the vulnerable industrial population. If anything, this has taken way too long to get underway. Personal opinion.
