2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ is a wrap for The Bird’s Nest 🪺!! What a year of growth, impact and amazing engaged learning and professionals experiences for our agency and team members. Some of the highlights we had this past year include: 🪺 We worked with 15+ clients this year and 7+ events and activations on and off campus. 🪺 Our team members had the chance to collaborate and work with the amazing teams Churchill Downs Racetrack and the Kentucky Derby for KYD 150 on content, event management (with Unwell), red carpet, and photography. 🪺 We hosted our first invited talk event with Maha Abouelenein. 🪺 We had several mentors and industry professionals come and share their expertise with our team (special thanks to Steven Von Gerlachter, MBA, Stef Albiero, Jeff Barrett and Mary Moulton Putman!) 🪺 We won two Public Relations Society of America - Bluegrass Chapter awards of merit for our client work. 🪺 Our work was showcased in the media, including a mention in The Hollywood Reporter and The Louisville Cardinal. 🪺 Our team continues to grow, and some of our graduates are getting incredible internships and jobs after graduation! ✨We are just getting started and can’t wait to see what 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ brings to the table for TBN University of Louisville! ✨ #hatchyourpotential #uofl #louisville #birdsnestlou

Visiting clients and creating user generated content = fabulous engaged learning experience! The team from The Bird's Nest Student Agency (Madeleine Luebbert, Ella K Cornett & Alexander Payton) joined me tonight as we experienced Bubba’s 33 on their Prohibition Night celebration (hence the 33 reference for their branding). Along with good food, brainstorming for spring semester, and creating content for social media - this was a great professional opportunity and experience for the students to see their client they’ve worked with this semester.
