As we step into 2025, we are proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 25th anniversary of The Bristal Assisted Living! Over the past quarter-century, The Bristal has blossomed from a single community on Long Island to 26 locations across the tri-state area including 305 West End Assisted Living and Encore Luxury Living. In that time, we have been honored to serve thousands of seniors and their families, creating a legacy of care, connection, and compassion. We have seen team members grow in their careers from line staff to administration. We have created friendships, careers, homes, and a lifetime of cherished memories. We’re pleased to share some updates about The Bristal sales team. Melissa Sheehan is returning to The Bristal as Director of Business Development. She’ll now be focusing on our communities in Englewood, Waldwick, Wayne, and Woodcliff Lake. With her strong track record from her previous tenure, we’re excited to see her continue driving success in these areas. We’re also happy to welcome Anant Patel as our new company-wide Sales Specialist. Anant brings extensive experience and a history of achieving excellent results. He’s already off to a great start, and we’re looking forward to the contributions he’ll make. Join us in welcoming Melissa and Anant to their roles!

This year, we were honored to partner with the Family & Children's Association to bring holiday cheer to 125 homebound seniors this season. Together, we worked to make sure they felt supported and cared for, starting with a festive holiday meal. Under the guidance of our Regional Director of Food Service, Paul Senken, and with the assistance chefs from all of our Long Island communities, we prepared gourmet meals featuring seasonal favorites like roast turkey, stuffing, pies, and more. Our team members, alongside FCA staff, delivered these meals with warmth and kindness, accompanied by thoughtful care packages generously donated by the generous LoFaso family of Farmingdale. Each package included cozy essentials like fleece blankets, warm socks, and sparkling cider, ensuring a truly joyful and comforting holiday experience. This initiative showcases The Bristal’s dedication to enriching the lives of all seniors through care and community support.
