Notice a trend...? 😀 The launch of Measurabl's Next Gen #sustainability tech platform earlier this year has enjoyed an extraordinary response from the #realestate industry. Our new platform includes but is not limited to: fully proprietary utility automation to AI for data quality assurance, decarbonization scenario analysis, fully customizable reporting. And, most importantly, it's all sitting on top of our new Quantum Cloud - the world's largest repository of actual, aggregated sustainability data on real estate. If you haven't see Measurabl's newest technologies, please get in touch! They've changed the game. 🚀 🚀 I'm confident we will bring home some hardware and it all goes to our amazing customers and partners who voted for us in these awards programs: thank you for your commitment to innovation! Together we're taking a Quantum ;) leap towards sustainable real estate.

Thank you to Hal Weitzman for interviewing Priya Parrish on the latest episode of Chicago Booth Review’s podcast, to discuss her book, The Little Book of Impact Investing: Aligning Profit and Purpose to Change the World. Hal and Priya discussed the distinction between ESG and impact investing and Priya debunked many of the myths about impact investing while underscoring how investors can make money and do good simultaneously. We are proud to share her book with the The University of Chicago Booth School of Business students and alumni as well as our broader ecosystem of change makers. You can buy your copy of the book here: https://lnkd.in/gPWADgwQ

Our CIO Priya Parrish got a warm welcome at her alma mater Babson College last week to talk about her new book, The Little Book of Impact Investing: Aligning Profit and Purpose to Change the World. You can order Priya's book here: https://lnkd.in/gPWADgwQ https://lnkd.in/e4dzeMHi
Look at this cake!! I had goosebumps going back to Babson College yesterday to talk about The Little Book. The after party at eTower, where I lived, brought all the memories back. Andrew Foley gets all the credit for starting etower back when we were kids and I was so impressed with Daniel Berlin who leads it today. Seeing Patrick Cahill in the audience and catching up afterwards warmed my heart!

It’s so fun to get pictures of the book in hands of so many friends! Please keep them coming and spread the word! Some final myths to bust: The impact investing market is small, a fad, and has limited investment opportunities. The Global Impact Investing Network reported that the already $1.5+ trillion industry is growing at at 14% CAGR. At Impact Engine we continue to see investors writing their first impact investing check and those increase allocations after seeing success. The supposed “ESG backlash” is hogwash; this is here to stay because CEOs and investors alike know it’s smart business. We also see many successful investment professionals launch new impact funds each year. Product breadth and depth is evident, with niche early stage VCs to multiple billion dollar control buyout GPs, in addition to private credit, real estate, and public markets strategies. This has allowed many asset owners, like the Nathan Cummings Foundation’s $500 million endowment or the California Endowment’s $4 billion, to invest all their capital with an impact lens. If you want to read more about how to be an effective impact investor, whether it be a GP or LP, order a copy of The Little Book of Impact Investing: https://a.co/d/aKhKHrL

Our CIO Priya Parrish recently spoke with Bloomberg Radio's Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec to discuss the launch of her book, The Little Book of Impact Investing: Aligning Profit and Purpose to Change the World. Impact investing is an approach for everyone and whether you are a retail investor or institutional investor, we have the ability to build portfolios that achieve financial goals while driving systems change. Thank you to ImpactAlpha for publishing an excerpt from our CIO Priya Parrish’s book, ‘The Little Book of Impact Investing: Aligning Profit and Purpose to Change the World.’ This excerpt is devoted to exploring what happens when impact investing doesn’t achieve the hoped-for goals, when no matter how good the team or innovative the idea, the project just isn’t a success. This sort of outcome isn’t unique to impact investing, of course, but in cases where it does happen, detractors hold them up as evidence of the commonly held, incorrect belief that doing good and financial returns can’t possibly go together. They absolutely can, but unfortunately that’s not always the case. You can read the excerpt by clicking below and order Priya’s book here: https://lnkd.in/ej_mfxtB https://lnkd.in/gpD7q-yJ
