✨TEA Recognition of Merit Spotlight✨ Treasure Hunt: The Ride has been awarded a TEA Recognition of Merit, which recognizes an outstanding project that did not meet the criteria for a Thea Award of Outstanding Achievement (AOA), but still demonstrated exceptional execution. Located on Monterey's historic Cannery Row, this immersive, pirate-themed dark ride combines hand-crafted set pieces, animatronics, special effects, and interactive gameplay to transport guests into the world of hidden treasure and local pirate lore. 🌊💀 Guests embark on a thrilling adventure through the mysterious caverns of 1818, using "Treasure Collector" devices to solve puzzles and uncover secrets, all while defending against pirate ghosts! This project brilliantly blends rich storytelling, cutting-edge tech, and local history to offer a one-of-a-kind experience for all who visit.
