At Meier Law Firm, PLLC, it’s not just business, it is personal. #CounselWithoutJudgment

About us

The Meier Law Firm provides counsel without judgment in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning & Administration, Probate Litigation, and Business & Employment Law. By focusing on these specific areas of law, we have gained the knowledge and experience to enable us to ably counsel and assist our clients in planning for incapacity, long term care, estate tax minimization, business cessation planning, and estate distribution. At the Meier Law Firm, it’s not just business; it is personal. Our team strives to provide each client with knowledgeable and personalized service in a professional, respectful and friendly manner. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution. Rather, we work with our clients to understand her/his/their particular situation, needs and goals; counsel them on the options available; and tailor a plan or advise on a course of action which will achieve the desired result. In doing so, we consider what impact the planned course of action will have on the client and his or her family and/or business in the future.

  • A new year brings a fresh start, a clean slate, a new chapter. 🌟 We always like to encourage our clients to set a few “legal resolutions” for the new year so we can clearly see their goals for their legal documents — in particular, their estate plan and healthcare planning. Here are some examples of legal resolutions: - Update your beneficiaries - Reevaluate who you’ve assigned as your power of attorney and healthcare proxy - Create a trust for a new child or grandchild - Plan out your annual giving over the course of the year - Medicaid planning and application for benefits if you or a loved one needs long-term care What are your legal resolutions and goals for this upcoming year? How can we support your goals? Chime in below! 💬
