What was the insight ? 'Time-Continuous vs. Discretized: LNNs are time-continuous, while RNNs are typically discretized. ODEs vs. Fixed Time Steps: LNNs use ODEs, whereas RNNs use fixed time steps. Adaptive Time Constants: LNNs have adaptive time constants, unlike traditional RNNs. Non-Linear Synaptic Connections: LNNs introduce non-linearities over synaptic connections, enhancing their modeling capabilities. Numerical Solvers: LNNs use numerical differential equation solvers for efficient computation. '
