About us

Therapy Insights Practice is a group therapy practice located in Midtown Manhattan. Our approach is trauma informed/skill based in nature and we apply a wide range of techniques including CBT, DBT, EMDR, SFBT and EFT to address issues including complex trauma, mood/anxiety disorders and relationship issues. Our staff consists of diverse clinicians all with various focuses and we service individuals, couples, adolescents (age 16+), families and seniors. Many of our clients are from the LGBTQ community and our staff is trained to address their specific needs which include an understanding of systemic trauma and the impact it has throughout the lifespan. We provide a safe space for those who identify as non-binary and those in process of transitioning. Our clinicians provide couples therapy to those exploring intimacy and sexuality, open-relationships, ethical non-monogamy, among other constructs to help solidify what feels right for each couple. In addition, couples therapy can include discernment counseling, pre-marital counseling, high-conflict resolution, infidelity, contemplating divorce and post-divorce challenges. Our clinicians make a thorough assessment of your needs to formulate goals and work collaboratively with you throughout the therapy journey. We focus on strengths, resources and solutions while carefully working through traumatic experiences, identifying intense emotions and thought patterns and carefully help you navigate an approach that feels authentic to you.
