Someone you know is living with HIV. A friend. A coworker. A family member. But you wouldn’t know unless they told you—because HIV has no face. Stigma keeps people silent, but knowledge gives people power. Let’s talk about it. Let’s break the silence. #HIVHasNoFace #HIVAwareness #NoMoreStigma #knowyourstatus #recovery #awareness #wellness #hivstigma #safesex #hivadvocate #std #prep #TheRDSF

What does HIV look like? It looks like me. It looks like you. It looks like all of us. HIV doesn’t discriminate—it can affect anyone, no matter their background, age, or status. Stigma won’t end until we stop making assumptions. #HIVHasNoFace #EndTheStigma #HIVAwareness #BlackHealthMatters #GetTested #HealthEquity #HeteroHIV #theRDSForg #theRDSF

The ‘War on Drugs’ disproportionately harmed Black communities, leading to mass incarceration instead of access to treatment and recovery services. But today, we’re rewriting the narrative. 🖊️💙 💡 Together, we can advocate for policies that heal, not punish. 🔗 Want to be part of the change? Heterosexual Black men, families and HIV🌟 Embracing Our Stories, Empowering Our Future 🌟 Hey LinkedIn family, Today, I want to share a journey that's deeply personal yet profoundly universal. It's a story of resilience, community, and the power of unity, especially within the heterosexual Black family, as we navigate the complexities of life, love, and health. As a Black man living with HIV, I've faced challenges that have tested my spirit and strengthened my resolve. Through The Reginald & Dionne Smith Foundation, I've dedicated my life to bridging data gaps and fostering unity within our community. Our mission? To create a world where every Black family thrives, informed and empowered. Since 2012 it has been a leap of faith to follow a call to action—a call to address the pressing issues of our time with compassion and knowledge. With the support of our incredible team, including my partner Dionne, we're building a space for healing and growth. The path hasn't been easy. From organizing our operations to expanding our reach, every day presents new challenges. Yet, each hurdle is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow stronger. Our Wellness Awareness Recovery Network (https://lnkd.in/eCnRmh2t) is a testament to this—630 members strong and counting, each one a vital thread in our tapestry of change. As we look to the future, we're focused on creating actionable strategies for wellness, personal growth, and community engagement. Whether it's through holistic health practices, motivational interviewing, or mindfulness, our goal is to empower individuals to live their best lives. I invite you to join us on this journey. Let's build a community where every story is heard, every challenge met with courage, and every victory celebrated. Together, we can transform narratives and create lasting impact. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support, encouragement, and engagement mean the world to us. 🌟 #CommunityUnity #HolisticWellness #BlackFamilyEmpowerment #HIVAwareness #PositiveAttitudes #Resilience #GrowthJourney Warmly, Reggie Smith
