On average, Americans take 11 years to seek help for mental health issues (source in comments). A big reason for this is a shortage of adequate mental health resources. The Bridge - a 501c3 in Dartmouth, MA - is addressing this challenge by providing affordable therapy and mental health programs (they accept 20+ insurances when many providers only accept a few + some programs are even free). More info in our webinar below. For this year's Theresa Street Summer Classic 🍋 - a wiffle ball fundraiser that we've been hosting for 16 years - we're donating our proceeds primarily to The Bridge. In the past two months, we've raised $24,000 and hope to close an additional $11,000 in the coming days. If you'd like to donate, please go to https://lnkd.in/gHFYKPBW and select "General Donation" or your favorite team to donate on behalf of. A big shout-out to Sara Katz, LICSW - a Dartmouth-based Clinical Social Worker - for joining the call as Theresa Street's "Expert in Residence" on mental health challenges and solutions in our area. https://lnkd.in/gYUQBiaz
