Signal Factory is a brand + creative studio blending art, design, and technology for wildly ambitious brands, agencies and in-house teams. We specialize in the fields of design, 3D, animation and moving imagery. With a bias towards action over abstract theory, we bridge the gap between brand definition and execution. Our no-BS approach to advertising and storytelling pulls positioning, messaging, and creative content together so brands can speak less - but say more. We’re deeply strategic, but won’t dizzy you with decks. We’re insanely creative, but you won’t be worried about us in board meetings. This one is straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 folks! As long time creative collaborators with Streamlight, Inc., we've always brought a high level of detail and production to our work together. This time, for the launch of their new products that serve the Fire & Rescue markets, we wanted to explore new techniques and technologies that would help us bring our story to life in a fresh and unique way. We developed the entire piece as a still life motif, with the viewer traveling through the scene while the action and frantic surroundings are all frozen in time. To do this, we deployed the latest in real-time animation technology, Unreal Engine 5. This allowed us to be far more exploratory and nimble in the production phase, due to its real-time rendering technology. In the end, Streamlight was delighted, potential customers were informed and entertained, and we get to chalk up another win with one of our favorite long-time client partners.

Tech has a dirty little secret. With data centers emitting more green house gases than the entire airline industry 🤯 it was important for us to bring this message to light for Hitachi Vantara. We utilized custom 3D animations to address concerns around sustainability and share their efforts to reduce carbon emissions and create eco-friendly data centers.

Several Rogers State University graphic design students recently spent the day at Tulsa-based design and creative agency Signal Factory, learning about the industry and careers in graphic design. Signal Factory is a brand and creative studio that works alongside national and global brands, agencies, and in-house creative teams, employing a team of strategists, designers, animators, writers, directors, producers and technologists.
