Making dementia care easier today, while helping you re-imagine a better tomorrow with personalized, faith-based support
About us
When it comes to dementia caregiving, many families feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. At Think Different Dementia, we help Christian caregivers by making dementia care easy, using a unique blend of evidence-based solutions and through a biblical lens. We understand how challenging it can be to care for a loved one with dementia, and we’ve supported countless families through their caregiving journeys. Our services transform stress into peace, struggle into strength, and burnout into resilience. With Think Different Dementia, you’re not alone. Our services include immediate caregiver coaching focused on crisis management, dementia planning, and dementia behavior management. For ongoing support, we offer year-long group coaching designed to provide continuous guidance and community. We serve family caregivers—spouses, siblings, adult children, and grandchildren—within the Christian community. Our approach integrates faith-based principles with scientifically backed caregiving strategies, offering a comprehensive and compassionate solution. Our clients’ experiences speak for themselves. Angela’s stress dropped from a 10/10 to a 3/10. Tommy, a grandchild, learned to support his grandmother while maintaining his own life balance. Think Different Dementia was founded by Lizette Cloete, an experienced dementia coach with over 31 years as an Occupational Therapist and a pastor's wife. Lizette’s deep understanding of biblical teachings and dementia caregiving has enabled her to create a supportive and effective framework for families. The human brain is drawn to clarity and away from confusion. If caregivers are confused about how to help their loved ones, they’ll feel lost and overwhelmed. Understand our clear and compassionate approach, and you’ll find the strength and peace needed to support your loved one effectively.
