Thinkubator Media is dedicated to having the voices of women heard both inside and outside of their research areas/organizations. We work with women in academia and industry to raise their profiles through coaching and training sessions, identifying outreach opportunities, networking with key influencers, and creating a robust and dynamic online presence that clearly articulates the research and its impact to those who need to hear it. Our team consists of well-connected industry professionals whose talents span decades of experience in areas such as film, public relations, photography, writing, media training, professional development, and design. These experts are brought on to each project to train the cohorts and/or individuals who desire to have their profiles elevated. Our team believes in a holistic approach to this work and is committed to supporting women and their mission throughout the entire process.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠 At Thinkubator Media, we recognize the importance of mental health, especially in high-pressure fields like STEM. Men often face unique challenges when it comes to mental health, and societal expectations can make it even harder for them to seek help. Statistics to Consider: 📊 Men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues than women. 📊 Men have a higher rate of suicide, often due to untreated mental health conditions. 💡 Quick Tip for Employers: Foster an open environment where mental health is discussed without stigma. Encourage employees to take mental health days and provide resources for mental health support. Let's work together to break the stigma and support men's mental health. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Reposting this thought-provoking insight from the 'So Many Dicks' campaign, shedding light on the lack of diversity in corporate boardrooms. Given the stark statistics: What steps should companies prioritize to foster a more inclusive and representative leadership landscape?
So many Dicks and so few of everyone else. Today, we are excited to unveil another chapter of our Change the Board Game movement, “So Many Dicks.” A spotlight on the lack of diversity in corporate boardrooms across the U.S. Our campaign is more than just a statement – it's a call to action for real change. We combed through each board of directors of U.S. based companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ, all 36,957 existing board members across 4,429 publicly traded U.S. companies. The data is astounding: 🔍 There were 566 men named Richard, Rick, or Dick (Dicks) serving on these public company boards. 🔍 Black women and Asian women barely outnumber men named Dick, with only 806 Black Women, 774 Asian Women. 🔍 There were only 283 Hispanic Women on these same boards, only half the number of “Dicks”. 🔍 There are 19x more men named Dick than the 29 women of Middle Eastern descent on these boards 🔍 There are only 3 Native American Women serving on these boards compared to 566 men named Dick. At e.l.f. Beauty, inclusivity is a superpower. With our board leading the charge with 2/3 women and 1/3 diverse members, we're setting a new standard for corporate leadership.
