Congratulations to City of College Station's Ty Elliott and Matthew Ragaglia on their recent article published by Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA). A lot of knowledge packed into this article: 👉 "The audit was exceptionally well received by the City Manager’s Office, the city council, and the Audit Committee. In the 17 years since the City Auditor’s Office was established, no audit has had such a meaningful impact. Management recognized the audit as a significant value addition, particularly for providing clear, actionable insights that addressed long-standing risks. The project highlighted the importance of collaboration between management and the audit team, working together to safeguard the organization and its stakeholders from fraud, waste, and abuse. 👉 "The magnitude of the problem is difficult to overstate.
