Roon, a NYC-based company providing access to a guide for health, raised $15M in Series A funding. FirstMark Capital and Forerunner Ventures led the round, which included participation from early investors TMV and Sequoia Capital. Roon is building a platform that serves as a guide for health. It aims to bridge the gap between the care people need and the information they can trust. Doron Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotech company based in Chapel Hill, NC, that focuses on degenerative musculoskeletal conditions, has raised $11M in Series A funding. The round was led by EQT Ventures, with participation from bpifrance and angel investors. Kyan Health, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of an AI-powered enterprise solution offering services through a subscription-based model for enterprise clients, raised $16.7M in funding. neoplas med GmbH, a medical technology company based in Greifswald, Germany, received $18M in funding from Niterra Ventures Company.  Neoplas Med is advancing the possibilities of argon cold plasma jet therapy in clinical use. It thus works to effectively and sustainably improve the quality of life of people with acute and chronic wounds. The company has created the argon cold plasma jet, kINPen® MED, a ‘plasma pen’ that directs a precise plasma jet onto wounds and significantly accelerates wound healing. Neoplas Med uses the inert gas argon for this rapid therapy, treating both infected and chronic wounds.
