Now a managing director at Drexel Hamilton, Trevor continues to evolve in the investment banking career field. Random Thought #6: It was Veterans, mostly enlisted, returning from WW2 who now had access to higher education through the GI Bill, that set America on a path as the most respected country in the world. We seem to forget that it was veterans who built the American economy and businesses. That seems to have gotten lost over the years and generations, with businesses thinking military experience wasn’t relevant to business. The US Military has been around for over 200 years and is still the envy of the world. What business has that record run of success? A 25-year-old Squad Leader or Leading Petty Officer has had more experience in accountability, and personal and risk management than many CEO’s, certainly most managers and directors, in real world problems and most importantly, finding solutions.
