Tigerlily's mission is to educate, advocate, empower, and support young women throughout their breast cancer journey.
About us
Tigerlily Foundation’s mission is to educate, advocate for, empower, and support young women before, during, and after breast cancer. MISSION To educate, advocate for, empower, and support young women, before, during and after breast cancer. VISION We envision a future where breast cancer diagnosis doesn’t inspire fear, but ignites hope for a future because: We can inspire young women diagnosed with breast cancer to transform inside and out as they journey through treatment to live their best life going forward. We empower young women to be advocates for change Breast cancer will no longer be a terminal disease, but become a chronic disease that will someday be cured. Through our programs, we seek to educate and empower women of all backgrounds, including those at heightened risk, those facing health disparities, and those with less access to care. We strive to improve the quality of life and end isolation among breast cancer survivors. Most importantly, we encourage and endeavor to empower fearless females in every stage of their journey, and to show them that they are not or alone, but are beautiful, strong like the tiger and the lily, and that they can be transformed – during and after breast cancer.

During National Family Caregivers Month, we honor the incredible individuals who dedicate themselves to caring for loved ones. But caregiving can take a toll, and the well-being of the caregiver is just as important. Let’s prioritize the physical, emotional, and mental health of those who give so much to others. Caregivers deserve compassion, rest, and support to thrive, not just survive. 💚 A healthy caregiver is the heart of strong caregiving. #Selfcare #CaregiverWellbeing #CaringForCaregivers #NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth

🌸 Becoming Tigerlily 🌸 When Maimah Karmo was diagnosed with breast cancer, she felt isolated, searching for a community of women who looked like her—young women of color navigating the same age, stage, and treatment journey. In response, she created what she couldn’t find: a support network for those who needed to know they weren’t alone. "People are dying to know, and dying because they do not know what to do." - Maimah Karmo The Tigerlily Foundation has grown over the years to empower and uplift women of color facing breast cancer. Today, we stand as a symbol of strength and transformation. You are not alone. You are beautiful. You are strong. Like the Tiger and the Lily, you can emerge stronger during and after cancer. 💪🌸 #BecomingTigerlily #TigerlilyFoundation #BreastCancerAwareness #StrengthInCommunity #TransformThroughCancer #WomenSupportingWomen #HealthEquity #CancerWarrior
