Unseen: The Fight to Find Our Missing Children "We had to go to the unseen over and over again. And because we knew the path, we weren't deterred, we continued following the data, which ultimately led us to a door and protecting that young person." - Kyle Naish, NCPTF This child abduction case involving a 13-year-old girl started online. The perpetrator convinced this teenager that she would have a better life if she went with him. This case is, unfortunately, quite common. Vulnerable children can easily be targeted and deceived into forming a relationship with the perpetrator through a process called “grooming.” Over time, this can escalate to the child meeting them in person and, in some cases, agreeing to run away with them. We are grateful that with the support of our partner, the National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF), law enforcement was able to bring her to safety.

We are grateful that we were able to support law enforcement from around the world on this operation along with our partners, Child Rescue Coalition and ICMEC ⬇ 32 investigators from around the world gathered at Europol for a weeklong sprint operation to investigate producers and distributors of child sexual exploitation material through live-streaming platforms. Some of the abused children are believed to be as young as three to four years of age. Investigators analyzed: - Tens of thousands of child sexual exploitation images and videos - More than 10 million lines of online conversations between approximately 12,000 unique criminal customer accounts and 100 seller accounts “Live-streamed child sexual abuse is a growing industry, involving child traffickers in the Philippines and elsewhere who curate a vetted customer base of buyers who pay to watch the live-streamed abuse of children. Criminal buyers direct child traffickers to perform acts of sexual abuse on minor children in real-time during private webcam interactions. Customers also travel to the Philippines to engage in the hands-on abuse of victimized children themselves.” - Europol

12 Victims Seen in Child Sexual Abuse Material Identified During Training in Brazil We are incredibly thankful to our giving family for joining the fight to help identify and protect children from exploitation worldwide. Our goal is to unite global law enforcement and equip investigators to be able to identify and rescue children seen in sexual abuse material faster. In partnership with Onemi Global Solutions and international law enforcement partners, we supported a two-week training in Brazil which brought investigators together from across Brazil to learn the most advanced techniques in identifying victims seen in child sexual abuse material. Immediately following the training, after applying these techniques, the police were able to identify 12 new victims. This training is not only helping children in Brazil but will help boys and girls all over the globe, as more victim identification specialists are becoming better equipped to combat this evil.

Zion, a precious little boy from Haiti, is an example of how Faith, Hope and Love can completely transform a life! Zion went from being neglected and abandoned to being cherished and cared for. About four years ago, Zion was an extremely malnourished baby boy who was abandoned at a hospital and was not expected to survive. But God had other plans! Zion is unrecognizable from the first photo taken when he was rescued and brought to our Ministry Partner myLIFEspeaks in September 2020. Today, Zion is a healthy and thriving little boy! He has a loving forever family, enjoys playing with his siblings, and loves sports. We praise God for Zion's life and know the Lord has great plans for him!

Night to Shine and special needs ministry have become the heartbeat of Genesis Church in Tallahassee! 10 years ago, a church member heard about Night to Shine and brought the idea to leadership.
