The NFL Combine kicks off in Indy today, meanwhile, we’re gearing up for our own Startup Combine in Green Bay (April 3-4) for the #TitletownTech Startup Draft. Before we bring finalists to Green Bay for two days of camaraderie, connections, and coaching, we need to scout the best early-stage startups solving real problems in manufacturing, supply chain, agriculture, energy, digital health, and sports. Startups selected will have a shot at $1M in investment from TitletownTech and $350K in Azure credits from Microsoft for Startups to fuel their growth. We’ve built strong ties in Indy, connecting with venture firms, founders, and operators driving innovation across industries. And fun fact—our own Chloe Kinderman is a proud Butler University alum. Looking ahead to the NFL Draft, it’s no coincidence that Kansas City, Detroit, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh are hosting in back-to-back years. These are industrious, hardworking communities that build things, the same kind of grit and determination we see in founders. But getting to Draft Day isn’t a solo effort, it takes a network of coaches, mentors, and supporters to help a player reach their potential. The same is true for startups. We’re celebrating the startup ecosystems and communities we’ve connected with, because they play a huge role in getting a company “drafted.” Apply here: https://lnkd.in/gxKzeWZv Send nominations to: connections@titletowntech.com 📍Indy: Elevate Ventures, Myles Grote, Christopher (Toph) Day, High Alpha, High Alpha Innovation, Katie Birge, Emil Nabo Ekiyor 📍Kansas City: Iron Prairie Ventures, Maggie Kenefake, Flyover Capital, Dan Kerr, Dan Crumb 📍Detroit: Detroit Venture Partners, Dan Gilbert, Fontinalis Partners, Invest Detroit, Pete Martin, Red Cedar Ventures, Plymouth Growth 📍Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, Reed McManigle, Cindy Chepanoske, Dave Mawhinney

Tusk Logistics has raised a $2M seed round, led by Ivy Ventures, with our participation along with Forum Ventures', to launch the Tusk Operations Platform, the first alternative carrier management platform built for shippers navigating a fragmented parcel delivery market. 🐘🐘🐘 For years, major carriers like UPS and FedEx have dominated logistics, offering little flexibility. But alternative carriers can cut costs by up to 40% and deliver faster—if only they were easier to manage. #Tusk is changing that. The company's platform provides real-time visibility, automation, and end-to-end control, making alternative carrier networks a viable, scalable option for shippers everywhere. We’re excited to back Ben Emmrich and the whole Tusk team! 🔗https://lnkd.in/edYndX3Y

Last week, we had the opportunity to welcome Dr. Timothy H Chung, Microsoft’s General Manager of Autonomy and Robotics (and former DARPA leader), to Wisconsin. Joining him was Jason Zander, Microsoft EVP and our Chief Technical Advisor, making for a dynamic duo. During their visit, Dr. Chung shared his insights on the evolving framework of robotics with our investors and network partners. He broke down the complex hierarchy of robotics -- from hardware to the orchestration of robot fleets and their varying levels of autonomy. His presentation highlighted how these advancements are shaping the future of industries, paving the way for smarter, more adaptive systems. The pair also spent time with University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty, led by Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau, Kyle Joseph, and Russ Johnson, and engaged with our portfolio companies. To cap off the visit... Dr. Chung got the full #Titletown (Green Bay Packers) experience, including donning a cheesehead and taking a tube ride down AriensCo Hill -- complete with a resounding "Weeeeeee!" 😉 We’re excited to be at the forefront of these conversations, driving innovation in robotics, autonomy, and beyond.

We're thrilled to see the work SeedLinked is enabling featured by The Washington Post! 🌱 As a safeguard against potential global food-related crises, there has always been an emphasis on preserving diverse crop varieties, even more so now with the effects of climate change. The Seed Savers Exchange 2025 ADAPT Program brings gardeners and farmers across the country together to trial crop varieties in varying climates and soils to protect heirloom plant varieties, ensure biodiversity, create more resilient crops, and secure the future of our food systems. #SeedLinked is powering these trials by aggregating thousands of grower insights on growth, yield, and resilience, enabling Seed Savers Exchange and ADAPT participants to share, analyze, and contribute valuable data to advance this mission. You can play a part in this work by getting involved in the 2025 ADAPT Program, which is open for registration through January. Gardeners and farmers of all skill levels and climates are encouraged to participate and experience SeedLinked’s innovative technology firsthand as they contribute valuable data.
