To our members and subscribers: today many of you received this letter describing some exciting changes to TMA and our sister organization, GTNF Conferences and The GTNF Trust. At a December 13th meeting of the members, the TMA membership unanimously approved changes to our bylaws that will effect a name change. We filed the relevant paperwork with US authorities and upon completion of that process we will be known as the Nicotine Resource Consortium. What's more, we're reorganizing and harmonizing operations across TMA, GTNF, and Tobacco Reporter, to create a unified organization focused on the twin missions of convening the best conferences and events we can and informing our members, readers, and subscribers all that's important in tobacco and nicotine. That starts with two things: (1) our rock-solid commitment to ensuring the information you rely on at tma.org continues; and (2) launching our inaugural ATNF conference this April, which will also be the first meeting of the Assocation under the Nicotine Resource Consortium name. Join us April 15-17 at the Arlington Renaissance Hotel for the first ever ATNF and an agenda that we are unabashed in touting as our best ever

We are so proud to once again play host to some absolutely terrific content from our friends and colleagues from OWNiT | Organization of Women in Nicotine & Tobacco at this year’s inaugural ATNF Conference. OWNiT programming will open up things on 15 April. We’re also proud of all our OWNiT board directors who are at the heart of our own leadership and what has become the most gender-balanced board we’ve ever had! Special thanks to Nicotine Resource Consortium and OWNiT leaders Beth Oliva, Laura Leigh Oyler, Stefanie Miller, Brandie Davis, and Brittani Cushman. We are proud that you’re leading us into a bright new future!
🌟 Reflecting, Strategizing, & Empowering at the OWNiT Board Retreat 🌟 Last weekend, we hosted our 2nd Annual Board Retreat at the stunning Fontainebleau in Miami! 🏖️ It was a powerful & productive two-day agenda, filled with: ✅ Reflecting on 2024 achievements ✅ Crafting strategic objectives & tactics for 2025 ✅ Planning events & programming ✅ Reviewing budget & resources ✅ Strengthening organizational structure & governance We also took time for meaningful conversations and, of course, recharged in the sunshine on the beautiful Miami beach. Our mission to empower and foster the advancement of women in the nicotine and tobacco space remains at the heart of everything we do. Cheers to driving progress and making an impact in 2025! Fielded a few questions this week regarding registration to American Tobacco & Nicotine Forum (ATNF) (formerly the TMA Annual Conference), and figured I’d respond. Please share around your network: ▫️you can check out agenda updates and register for the conference at www.atnf.forum and the new site is up and running thanks to my colleagues Christopher Moll, Elise Rasmussen, and Michelle Parisi. ◽️Conference registration occurs on the ATNF page, on that page is a link to the Arlington Renissance Hotel; use this link to book a special conference rate for your stay at the conference hotel ◽️Dates are April 15-17 2025 ◽️There are limited sponsorship slots available but going fast - huge thanks to our sponsors. Contact Michelle Parisi for more information ◽️ATNF is our new name; alongside the conference change, our members approved an association rebranding and we will open the inaugural ATNF by introducing the Nicotine Resource Consortium. ATNF is the US-focused sister conference to our Global Tobacco & Nicotine Forum (GTNF). ◽️In conjunction with sponsorship opportunities at ATNF, we have some limited spots left for our refocused trade news hub, Tobacco Reporter for trade advertising; package deals for cross platform sponsorship are possible so contact Elise Rasmussen or Michelle Parisi for further details Hoping to see my T/N network all there this April for what’s honestly the best agenda I’ve seen in more than a decade!
