One of the quickest ways to get a view on what's new & emerging on the UK FMCG scene is to visit raye the store Nicole Compen always curates the best selection of brands that give you a real flavour of what's new and next in the UK. We did a TomorrowBrands visit this week, a couple of our observations- 🚀 Functional continues to boom and now has an entire bay of it's own- soft drinks, supplements, beauty- it's cross category, it's prolific, it's not going anywhere as a trend for now. No sign of any CBD this time around though which is interesting, have we fully moved on to Nootropics, Adaptogenics and mushrooms now? 🍝 Premium world food & flavours, love this Italian range, saw a Palestinian condiment brand & some direct from restaurant (DFR, new genre?!) noodles from Koya, called Omiyage which translates to 'Souvenir' Regents st edition, open until 1st Dec, still time to check it out

We wrapped up our Driscoll's UK launch campaign with the first-ever Driscoll's Dinner at Apricity, London. There is a special Driscoll’s-inspired dish that’s now on their menu for the next month that shows the beauty and versatility of berries: Venison, naked oats, blackberry ketchup, pickled Driscoll’s blackberries, and squash. 🖤 If you’re in London, make sure to stop by for a taste of this seasonal delight. 🍂 Thank you to our agency partner Bacchus Agency for bringing this to life and creating such a beautiful evening

How do you sell 40 million chocolate bars? What does a marketing strategy that's a bit of Elon Musk, The Kardashians and Dragon's Den/Shark Tank (depending on which side of the pond you're on) all rolled into one look like? What happens when you 'burn the boats'? We get into these and way, way more in episode 5 of our series for The Marketing Society about Entrepreneurial Thinking. TomorrowBrands partner Ruth Fittock spoke to Nick Saltarelli one of the founders of Mid-Day Squares - a Canadian functional chocolate bar, currently taking North America by storm, about their journey to becoming a $100m brand If you're a marketeer, a founder, a leader or just a chocolate lover, this one's for you. So excited to see our OOH campaign for Driscoll's UK go live across London Back in Feb we started working with Driscoll's to help launch the brand here in the UK, and have been working hard behind the scenes since to help with their vision to change the face of fresh produce in the UK It's been a fascinating category to work in- berries are essential part of the UK shop and yet it's really overlooked in terms of excitement and branded investment- something we're changing Today we launch our campaign hero'ing our branded paper packs 'the punnet' and starting to tell the Driscoll's story of 'devotion'. Thank you to our agency partner And Rising for their work creating this brand platform and our amazing client Isla Haslam and the team at Driscoll's EMEA for trusting us to help bring this to life More to come in the next few weeks too 🍓 📸 Ruth Fittock & Philippa Classey
