Last week we had a pleasant visit with Lodge Cast Iron team from South Pittsburg, Tennessee at our headquarters in Brazil. Beyond the equipment testing to fulfill the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) milestone, they were able to learn more about our daily operation, visit all departments and understand of our continuous improvement processes. Overall, we had 3 days of their contribution for testing, adjustment and validation, as the American market demands a relentless execution to accomplish the high level of technical standards. We appreciate all the Lodge team, Randy Phillips, David Petrie, Jeff Caniparoli and Jonathan Trent. Trust and partnership that crosses borders and overcomes challenges Torfresma has been developing automation and technology solutions for Rioplatense Meat Processing Industry in Argentina for over 6 years. With this recent project, Rioplatense can now palletize up to 2,400 boxes per hour, achieving high levels of productivity. It is a modern and efficient double layer palletizing system with buffer, capable of handling a considerable accumulation of boxes, without holding up other sectors of the plant.
