In the phase of exploring my interests. I got accepted into a Research Internship Program, organized by Toufik's World Medical Association. The program started with sessions that taught us explicitly about the intricacies of research work, the methodologies, data analysis, putting the research components strongly together before publishing. I progressed to the second phase which was an internship program, where I get to contribute to ongoing research work. The first part of the program provided me with the foundational knowledge I needed to navigate the internship program, and through this experience, I have gained valuable on- field insights. I recently just submitted my contributions to a research paper for review. And I am actively looking forward to the results. I would like to specially thank Toufik Abdul-Rahman, MD for his incredible commitment to nurturing my research interests. This is only a phase, there's more to come!

Significant Clinical Effectiveness: Clinical trials have demonstrated retatrutide's efficacy with substantial reductions in body weight and improved glycemic control, positioning it as a promising treatment for obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Call for research fellows!!! 📢 We are currently accepting applications for our 2024-2025 research fellowship program. There are six cohorts available : Cardiothoracic surgery, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Oncology and Global Health (Global Health fellows will be working withToufik's World Organization , which is our public health sector). Research fellows will conduct research in respective fields and publish at least one manuscript every 3 months. Decisions such as which journal to send research papers to and final review will come from the direcrector of research (Aborode Abdullahi) and the advisory board of the association. Requirements: - Post-secondary degree - Experience in writing and conducting various types of academic research - Strong background in the respective field applying for - Must be hard working and be able to commit during the fellowship period Benefits include the experience of service in scientific publishing, working alongside our research and advisory board, networking with prestigious leaders in the field.
