Today marks a HUGE milestone for Town N Country Animal Hospital - our 1 year anniversary! It's been a whirlwind of a year, filled with challenges and triumphs, but every single moment has been worth it. We're still working on some remodeling and decorating, but that's all part of the journey. We've met the most amazing clients and people along the way, and we're so grateful for each and every one of you. A special shoutout to our incredible technicians - you're the backbone of this hospital! We're also thrilled to have started working with Camp Chaos Big Paw Rescue, a dream we've had for a long time. This wouldn't have been possible without the support of so many incredible people, especially Michael Dressel for believing in me and giving me the confidence and knowledge to make this dream a reality. Here's to many more years of providing the best possible care for our furry friends! 🐾

We will be closed tomorrow, 09/26/2024 due to Hurricane Helene. The areas around us flood pretty bad and make the roads unsafe for you and our staff. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are calling all of our appointments for tomorrow to reschedule. As of right now, we will continue normal business hours on Friday 09/27/2024. We will continue to post updates here. If you have any questions, please give us a call. 813-885-2791. Stay safe!

Welcome the First Day of Fall! Happy First Day of Fall from all of us at Town N Country Animal Hospital! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, it’s a perfect time to embrace the beauty of the season with our furry friends. Tips for a Safe and Happy Fall for Your Pets: Watch for Allergies: Just like humans, pets can suffer from seasonal allergies. Keep an eye out for excessive scratching or sneezing and consult us if you notice any symptoms. Keep Them Warm: As temperatures drop, ensure your pets have a cozy place to snuggle. Consider a warm blanket or a pet sweater for those chilly days. Fall Foods: With Halloween approaching, remember that some fall treats like chocolate and certain plants (like grapes) can be toxic to pets. Keep these out of reach! Outdoor Adventures: Enjoy the beautiful fall weather with walks and playtime outside. Just be mindful of wildlife and keep your pets leashed during outings. Check the Yard: Ensure your garden is pet-friendly. Some fallen leaves and plants can be harmful to our furry friends. Share Your Fall Moments! We’d love to see how you and your pets are celebrating the season! Share your favorite fall photos using #FallWithPets and tag us! Thank you for trusting us with your pet’s health and happiness. Here’s to a wonderful fall filled with joy, adventure, and lots of cuddles! www.tncanimalhospital.com #FirstDayOfFall #PetCare #AutumnVibes #VeterinaryHospital #HappyPets #Tampa

🦟 Happy World Mosquito Day! 🦟 Here at Town N Country Animal Hospital, we raise awareness about the impact of mosquitoes on the health of our beloved pets and our community! 🌍 World Mosquito Day commemorates the discovery of the link between mosquitoes and malaria, but it's also a perfect opportunity to highlight the importance of protecting our furry friends from these pesky pests. Why Mosquito Prevention Matters: Disease Transmission: Mosquitoes can transmit diseases such as heartworm, which can be fatal to dogs and cats. *Comfort: Keeping mosquitoes away ensures our pets can enjoy the outdoors without irritation or discomfort. *Community Health: Reducing mosquito populations helps protect both pets and humans from vector-borne diseases. How to Protect Your Pets: *Use Vet-Approved Preventatives: Consult with us about effective mosquito repellents and heartworm prevention. *Eliminate Standing Water: Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, so be sure to remove any sources around your home. *Regular Vet Check-Ups: Schedule regular health check-ups to monitor your pet’s health and discuss preventive measures. Let’s work together to keep our pets safe and healthy!
