🚤 Last year, South Florida Ventures, a division of Informa Markets, introduced a new Customer Success program for its Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.  “This program is really elevating the exhibitor experience,” Michael Robbins, Director of Customer Service and Success at Informa Markets, said. “We collaborate and interact with all other internal departments to help identify opportunities for exhibitors to maximize their time, resources and budgets. Freeman Company hired Sanjay Shringarpure as Chief Information Officer. Shringarpure will oversee Freeman’s global IT operations and strategic digital transformation efforts and report directly to Janet Dell, Freeman’s CEO. He has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience and previously served as Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at Republic National Distributing Company. “We’re thrilled to welcome Sanjay to Freeman,” Dell said. “His track record of leading major digital transformation projects makes him the right leader to continue driving Freeman and our industry forward. Sanjay’s ability to foster collaboration while delivering innovative technology solutions will be a great addition to our team and help us continue raising the bar for our industry.” Freeman also announced the retirement of Dawnn Pease Repp, JD, who was formerly Chief Legal Officer at the company, and promoted Cara Milligan from Deputy General Counsel to General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. #tradeshows #industryprofs

Breaking News: The Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) will reassume management of McCormick Place, taking over from Oak View Group effective July 1, 2025. The majority of the venue’s employees will transition to MPEA employees and, according to MPEA, the shift in management will not impact any currently planned events. “We are grateful for the collaboration with OVG over the course of our partnership,” Larita Clark, MPEA’s CEO, stated. “This decision is rooted in our commitment to providing world-class service and exceptional events for all our clients and visitors.
