"My first job was working the drive-thru at Arby’s, where I had to juggle taking orders, making change, and keeping up with the rush—all while staying friendly. It taught me how to think on my feet, multitask under pressure, act with empathy, oh - and how to deal with challenging customer situations". 🎙️What are you most excited about in your new role at TI? "I’m diving into a new industry and getting to research how buyers and sellers connect in our marketplaces. It’s exciting to help drive innovations that make these experiences even better—turning insights into action and making a real impact!" 🎙️Tell us a fun fact about yourself! "I put hot sauce on everything—from salad to popcorn. No meal is safe!" #TeamHotOnes 🔥 🎙️What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever received? "The only thing that’s constant is change - you can either adapt and advance, or fight it and be frustrated. Early on, I used to crave stability and was resistant to change because it was comfortable, but I’ve learned that adaptability is one of the most valuable skills you can have. Industries evolve, priorities shift, and the unexpected happens - roll with it or get rolled over". As part of our Employee Spotlight series we’re recognizing Sailaja Bondlela who is celebrating her 25th year here at Trader Interactive 🎉🙌🎈 Sailaja joined us back in the year 2000 as an Oracle Analyst, and she has seen significant changes in the way we utilize new software over that time. Sailaja says that our willingness to embrace change and adopt new technologies has been a key motivator for her to develop her career here at Trader Interactive 🙌 One of her favorite things about working at TI is the excellent work life balance we offer our employees, Sailaja told us, “When I had to relocate due to family reasons, the company was incredibly supportive with this change and assisted my transfer to a local office, for which I am truly appreciative” ❤️ Just for fun, we asked Sailaja who she would like to change roles with for a day? “I’d love to step into the shoes of a Data Scientist to see how they wrangle all the complex data we gather into valuable insights for our customers”, Sailaja says. “It’d be exciting to explore the magic behind the data and how it all comes together to make an impact”. Here at Trader Interactive we pride ourselves on being a group of go-getters who don’t want to settle for the status quo. We work hard as one team to build value, drive innovation, and lead our industries. Starting this week we’re going to be spotlighting some of our employees who really exemplify our core values in their work on a daily basis. First up is Tim Matusiewicz who was recently promoted to Program Manager, after joining Trader Interactive as a Senior Project Manager in October 2022. Tim’s new role allows him to work more closely with business and executive stakeholders to define and prioritize new initiatives within the company. Tim says this gives him “a unique perspective on the needs of the organization, while being able to define and allocate project management functions and resources to the many exciting things we are and will be working on”. Tim hopes that his new role will allow him to bring Trader Interactive a flexible program management style that delivers value while allowing us to focus our efforts on the things that matter most, and to efficiently pivot to the evolving needs of the business. When we asked Tim his favorite thing about working for TI he told us, “My coworkers, hands down. Despite being fully-remote, I am amazed at how quickly we are able to come together as a team and turn new ideas into something actionable that benefits our customers.” And that’s why Tim is a great example of what makes Trader Interactive so special.
