About us
The Traffic Marking Manufacturers Alliance (TMMA) was formed by a coalition of global companies operating in the traffic marking manufacturing industry. TMMA’s mission is to help improve roadway safety significantly for all road users. TMMA and its industry partners are committed to utilizing sustainable safety materials and pioneering pavement markings to fulfill the present and future requirements of all road users across the globe. TMMA members also promote and expedite the advancement of new automotive safety technologies. Today, TMMA members include roadway safety experts with decades of global policy, regulatory, research, communications and legislative experience. Each TMMA member remains focused on maximizing the value of road markings to protect motorists and to meet the challenges of supporting computer vision lane support and automated driving technologies.

Work zone fatalities, state-by-state map: Latest statistics shows Texas with the highest number of work zone fatalities (203) and California coming in second (177). New Hampshire was the only state that had zero fatalities in work zones, with Alaska, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wyoming each recording one death. WISCONSIN – Since the formation of the Wisconsin Automated Vehicle External Advisory group four years ago, WAVE has helped Wisconsin Department of Transportation implement a number of new strategies to accommodate and understand CAV technologies. Boston’s Transportation Department has installed new parking-protected bike lanes on segments of Berkeley Street and Arlington Street. The new green bike lanes provide a new north-south route that connects downtown Boston to the city's existing Tremont Street protected bike lanes through the South End. President-elect Donald Trump announced today he has selected former congressman Sean Duffy to serve as the next secretary of the Department of Transportation. Duffy served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019, representing Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District.
