[🔸EN⤵️] Le Québec est ravi d’avoir accueilli pour la première fois une mission multisectorielle de la Conférence des régions maritimes périphériques (CRPM), organisée grâce à l’excellent travail du Réseau Québec maritime - RQM et de la Technopole maritime du Québec. L’activité s’inscrivait dans le contexte du TRANSATLANTIC Project de la CRPM, qui vise à resserrer les liens entre les régions maritimes de l’Union européenne et hors-UE afin de favoriser les synergies et partenariats dans divers domaines liés à l’économie bleue. Des représentants de diverses régions de France, d’Espagne, du Portugal et du Royaume-Uni (Pays de Galles) participaient à la visite qui a porté plus précisément sur la #décarbonation du transport maritime et des infrastructures portuaires, les #biotechnologies marines et le #tourisme côtier durable. Les rencontres et visites eurent lieu à Québec, Rimouski et Montréal. 📌 Le Québec s’implique activement dans le projet Transatlantic depuis son adhésion à la CRPM à titre de membre associé, en mai 2023. ---- [🔸EN] Québec is delighted to have hosted for the first time a multi-sectoral mission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), organised thanks to the excellent work of Réseau Québec Maritime and the Technopole maritime du Québec. The event was part of the CPMR's TRANSATLANTIC Project, which aims to forge closer links between maritime regions within and outside the European Union in order to foster synergies and partnerships in various fields related to the blue economy. Representatives from various regions of France, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom (Wales) took part in the visit, which focused more specifically on the #decarbonisation of maritime transport and port infrastructures, marine biotechnologies and sustainable coastal tourism. Thank you to the Québec team for the amazing welcome of the Atlantic Arc delegation Réseau Québec maritime - RQM Technopole maritime du Québec Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable du Québec (MTMD) Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec (MRIF) The delegation led by Atlantic Arc Commission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), represented politically by Cllr Mathieu Bergé, delegate to European Territorial Cooperation and Ports for Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine brought together 25 stakeholders of the Atlantic Arc blue economy ecosystem to meet up and test new cooperation with Québec partners. With the key support of Fórum Oceano and Campus de Excelencia Internacional del Mar. CEI·MAR, partners created new business and academic links with Québec partners. In brief, amazing welcome, common interests to explore in green shipping, sustainable aquaculture, artificial intelligence applied to blue economy. We look forward to the second step: the study visit to #Wales to think on how to concretise these cooperation and reflect on our common interests with regards territorial development.
