We love when our collaborators share about what they're up to with Trestle! It's an honor to work with such dedicated and committed technologists who get fired up to use their skills for the betterment of our democracy. ✨
Today seems like a good day to mention that I recently started a 6-week engagement with Trestle Collaborative 🇺🇸. My first foray back into freelance consulting. I'm working with a Trestle partner to improve the user experience of their voter engagement software. Design and strategically applied user research is SO needed in Civic and Social-Good tech. I was able to do similar work in 2020 and am so grateful for opportunities like these. Early voting is happening soon — get ready!

Hello movement and election world friends! It’s a hectic time in the cycle and we’ve decided to provide an extra week to respond to Trestle Collaborative's Mid-2024 Open Call. Our new deadline is Friday, July 19th. If you’re interested in design, product, engineering, and security support this summer and fall, fill out our short and sweet Open Call form by the 19th: https://lnkd.in/etWNvkj Many thanks to those of you who’ve sent in movement and election tech needs! We’ve seen exciting projects roll in and look forward to learning about more! Our tech services are available to all kinds of orgs for free and discounted rates — so we encourage your team to respond even if you have budget constraints. We’re especially excited to support BIPOC & LGBTQ+ -led groups and folks doing critical work in battleground states and/or communities of color.

We're incredibly humbled by and proud of our community of tech collaborators who breath passion and heart into our work. It's an honor to work with folks like Caroline — for orgs like Reproductive Equity Now.
It was an honor to join Senator Warren and Senator Markey for a field hearing today on the state of abortion access in Massachusetts and the work we must do to combat national attacks on our reproductive freedom. We’re grateful for the opportunity to testify alongside providers, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell, and our friends at ACLU of Massachusetts. Reproductive Equity Now is done playing defense against this extremism. We’ve gone on offense. We’re working at EVERY level of government to protect and EXPAND access to care, including telehealth care. We will ensure that New England is a place where people can come, stay, and continue to access the reproductive health care they want and need, when they want and need it. Since the moment Dobbs fell in June 2022, Massachusetts has stood up to protect abortion access, abortion providers, and the provision of care across our borders. With new anti-abortion attacks being waged every day in the courts, state legislatures, and Congress, our work to expand access to reproductive health care for patients in Massachusetts and across New England remains critically important.
