Treynor CSD

The Treynor Community School District serves a rural/suburban area of 100 square miles with a student body of over 800, K-12. Open enrollment accounts for over 30% of the student body. A staff of over 100 provides services to the students. The district is fortunate in having very fine facilities, both from the standpoint of equipment and buildings. There have been several additions and upgrades provided to all buildings over the years, with the latest Fine Arts addition being completed in 2021. A high priority is given to providing instructional materials and equipment. All classrooms are air-conditioned and connected to the Internet via wired and wireless technology. The athletic facilities include two gyms, a wrestling room, an expanded strength and condition room as well as an Athletic complex with artificial turf and 8-lane track, which was completed in 2013. Treynor CSD is ranked in the top 10% of Iowa Schools, based on 2023 Niche reviews.
