🌟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐡 ! The 𝐏𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 is launching in 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, transforming the riverside from the Post Office to the Royal Palace into a vibrant hub for locals and tourists alike. This 57-hectare project will include a food and shopping area, a cultural and creative zone, and a green leisure space, with pedestrian-only access every Friday to Sunday evening. The initiative aims to enhance urban life and establish 𝐏𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. As Confluences , we are thrilled to see this initiative. In 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐, our team, alongside Trove Tourism Development Advisors, developed a Sangkat-Level Urban Tourism Plan under the 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦's guidance, and financed by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD). 📜 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝: • Comprehensive place audits and heritage assessments. • Frameworks for sustainable tourism planning, tailored to Cambodia’s context. • Inclusive stakeholder engagement with public, private, and community representatives. Our efforts laid a foundation for projects like this, emphasizing Phnom Penh’s rich cultural and natural heritage while promoting sustainable tourism development. 🌍✨ We’re thrilled to see this vision coming to life and are committed to continuing our contributions to Cambodia’s development with other projects. Our Destination Marketing and Destination Development teams have worked in 25+ destinations, serving our partners and the communities we work in. Over the last year, we have completed 12 global marketing and advertising campaigns for our destination partners. On the destination development side, we have completed 10 new tourism master planning, research and training programs for our destination partners. Through this time we have maintained high degree of client satisfaction and trust. Additionally, we serve as expert partner of international industry organizations including City Nation Place Destinations International The Place Brand Observer Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). Lastly, we rolled out our traveler sentiment tool to 5 new destinations. We’re thrilled to share the success of our recent Social Media Training Workshops in Kingston and Montego Bay, held in collaboration with JSIF Jamaica Social Investment Fund and The Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo.)! 🎉 Over the course of four days, we connected with incredible community-based tourism stakeholders eager to take their digital marketing to the next level.
