Our roots in Winston-Salem run deep, occasionally intersecting with other significant local institutions. One example is our 2004 merger with Victory Masonic Mutual Credit Union. Founded in 1946, Victory was dedicated to addressing the financial needs of Black residents during challenging times. It became a vital lifeline, offering loans that enabled families to achieve their dreams. Thanks to the Winston-Salem Chronicle for their recent story, preserving Victory's history and honoring its legacy and commitment to financial empowerment. https://lnkd.in/eaFEmFQY
