Eric has been with the Geneva Consulting Group / TSR team for five years and consistently excels at delivering high-quality candidates quickly and in high volume. His colleagues describe him as persistent and resilient, always maintaining his efforts even when faced with challenges or hard-to-find candidates. Eric works seamlessly with our offshore team, offering guidance on candidate requirements and providing direction to ensure our shared success. Outside of work, Eric loves visiting his college town at Ohio State, and attending the games. He also enjoys spending time with his family and baby niece in Florida. As a true foodie, Eric and his wife, Michele, are always on the hunt for new culinary experiences!

Last week, a team representing TSR and BCforward attended the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. 💗 Making Strides: Breast Cancer Awareness Walk 💗   This weekend, several of our incredible team members came together to participate in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Long Island, sponsored by the organization Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Walking with a shared purpose, we proudly supported the fight against breast cancer and honored those who have been affected by this disease.    This year, our team joined an immense crowd and walked 3.10 miles starting from Jones Beach. Happy Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day!   Today, we recognize both Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day to reflect on both our history and the people who have shaped it. Columbus Day commemorates the voyage of Christopher Columbus and the broader age of exploration, while Indigenous Peoples' Day honors the resilience of rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Native American communities who have long called this land home.   This day offers an opportunity to not only acknowledge the complex narratives of history but to champion the values of inclusion, respect, and recognition for all cultures. Let’s honor the full spectrum of history by acknowledging both the achievements and the struggles, ensuring that the voices of Indigenous peoples are heard and celebrated.

💼 Interview Tips: Keeping Your Prospective Candidate Engaged 💼 According to a LinkedIn investigation, the most common problems hiring managers encounter during interviews include: 1) Candidates tend to meander without getting to the point. 2) Candidates speak in generalities rather than providing specifics. These issues are often linked and can be addressed early on. The first few minutes of an interview are crucial for setting expectations and guiding the conversation. Here are three tactics to help: 1) Set the agenda: After small talk, clearly communicate your structure and goals for the interview. 2) Make your first question count: Keep it specific, open, and positive. 3) Engage early and often: Use follow-ups to foster a dynamic, focused conversation. As the interviewee- it's critical to look out for these prompts from the interviewer. Take note if they need more elaboration and details, while keeping your answers concise.
