The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) consists of four years of graduate work and is offered on the Lubbock, Texas campus. Although the schedule varies by semester, as a graduate student, you will typically attend class two days a week and have clinic one to two days a week in the first three years of the program. The fourth year consists of a full-time externship experience. Learn more:

We are excited to welcome Jill Manners, ScD, LAT, ATC, PT, COMT, FNAP, to TTUHSC as an associate professor and program director for the Master of #AthleticTraining (#MAT) program. Dr. Manners comes to TTUHSC from the University of Georgia, where she was the program director for the athletic training program for six years. Prior to UGA, she was the program director at Western Carolina University from 2009-2017. She was also the program director for one year at Salisbury University and the program’s clinical education coordinator from 1997 to 2003. In 2022, Dr. Manners was named a Distinguished Practitioner and Fellow of the National Academies of Practice. Dr. Manners is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Research and Education Foundation. She has presented nationally and internationally on various topics in the fields of athletic training and physical therapy. Dr. Manners earned her BS in Athletic Training/Exercise Science from Ithaca College in New York, MS in Athletic Training from West Virginia University, MPT in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University, and ScD in Physical Therapy from TTUHSC.
