TPD Officers all have a unique story.  Officer Haley started as a First Responder Dispatcher and realized she wanted to do more for her #Tucson community by becoming a police officer.  Her journey has led her to a rewarding career that allows her to support her community by being part of the TPD Honor Guard and Community Response Team.  Thank you Officer Haley for sharing your journey and inspiring those around with your kindness and compassion.

Our president, Brian Manley, was honored to present Officer William Bonanno (William B.) of Tucson Police Department with our Valor in Action award this morning in partnership with Arizona Department of Education Superintendent Tom Horne. Working as a School Safety Officer during his off-duty hours, Bonanno saved the lives of at least 20 children and adults by stopping an armed intruder determined to do lethal harm at Legacy Charter School last month. https://hubs.li/Q035JtX50

Congratulations Officer William Bonanno 👏  TPD Officer Bonanno was honored by the Arizona Department of Education and Off Duty Management for his quick and decisive response at Legacy Traditional Charter School.
