It’s time to change the dialogue, sharpen our ideas and make an impact. Tucson Young Professionals (TYP) is engaged in finding our voice to re-energize Tucson. TYP is a quality group of diverse young professionals working together to showcase Tucson as a place for growth and prosperity. The focus of the organization is to provide members with opportunities to build relationships with the local community. TYP is a place for the next generation of leaders to share their ideas, test their insight and participate in a dynamic conversation. This will not only provide young professionals with a voice, but an outlet for affecting change. TYP seeks to work hand-in-hand with the current community to with help inspire like-minded professionals into making Tucson a better place to live, work and play. Our Mission: Tucson Young Professionals is a group of young business and community leaders focused on the attraction, retention and promotion of young professionals in Tucson. Together we create a voice to help impact the development and growth of Tucson.

Yesterday we had our bi-monthly in person Tucson Young Professionals Philanthropy Committee meeting at Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona! We learned about everything Goodwill is doing to help our Southern AZ community and my mind was blown! I had no idea how much this company cares about our community! ❤️ We also got to tour the E-Commerce building and it was huge! Their organizational skills trump mine all day everyday. 🙃 But I walked away with many ideas on how to take my own organizational skills for the rental side of our business to the next level. ☺️ We ended our time together with planning our volunteer opportunities for the next few months and there are some exciting times to come! More to come on this! 🩵

Growth looks different for everyone. When you take a step back and think about it, that makes sense though, right? We're all different, so how can we expect all of our paths to look the same? It can sometimes be hard to see the upward trajectory when you're in the thick of it though. Surround yourself with people who can speak truth and life to you, those who know you best and can affirm that you're moving in the right direction. Even though we each have our own individual careers, we still weren't meant to do life alone. Keep going.
