Roll to the Top Take a look below at the latest feature on Edward Crawford 🇺🇸 (MBA ’09, SLA ’09) from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business. Learn more about his journey and how earning an MBA propelled him to start his own business.
Alumni Spotlight: Edward Crawford (MBA ’09 / SLA ’09) We are proud to highlight the remarkable journey of Edward Crawford 🇺🇸, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Coltala Holdings. Edward's path to success began as a Peace Corps member in the Dominican Republic, where he launched a coffee business with no prior business background. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination led him to the Freeman School of Business, where he developed the essential skills needed to run a sustainable business. Edward's story is a testament to the transformative power of a Freeman education, which equips students with both the knowledge and the practical skills necessary to excel in the business world. Edward appreciates Freeman's strong entrepreneurial mindset and the school's commitment to fostering projects that have a meaningful impact on the world. He believes that the hands-on experiences and the focus on real-world applications at Freeman prepare students to make significant contributions to society. We are also thrilled to announce that Edward recently received the Future Texas Legend Veteran Award from the Texas Business Hall of Fame, recognizing his outstanding contributions and leadership in Texas. Join us in celebrating Edward Crawford's inspiring journey. His story exemplifies the dedication, innovation, and excellence that define our alumni! #TulaneFreeman #FreemanBusiness #AlumniSpotlight
