Meet the man behind what's in the bottle. Kieran Robinson, our esteemed Winemaker, has been producing wine in Napa & Sonoma for over 20 years, representing some of the biggest names in the game such as Cakebread Cellars, Paul Hobbs, and Jericho Canyon. Many of the wines he's produced over the years have scored 90+ points and we couldn't be more grateful to have Kieran on the Turks Head Wines team. From the vineyard to the bottle, Kieran is completely hands-on throughout the process. As a Chester County native, Kieran currently splits his time between Napa and Downingtown, where he owns and operates R Five Wines with his wife Kristie. Kieran produces Rhône-style varietals for his own wine label, R Five Wines while focusing on Bordeaux-style varietals for Turks Head Wines. Had a beautiful evening enjoying great wine in an awesome atmosphere at the Turks Head Wines soft opening with the Mrs. Having been in the building before…all I can say is, wow! The team did an amazing job reimagining and recreating the space. During our tour with the owner - Allison Owen - we discussed their journey into entrepreneurship and how their vision for Turks Head Wines came to life. Seeing something special come to fruition; from imagination, to concept, to design, to execution, is a fascinating process and I always enjoy learning the backstory. Job well done. A great addition to West Chester and I strongly believe the people will agree. For us, we found a new date night spot for those coveted nights when we can break from the kids.
