We invite you to join us in remembering President Carter's legacy by commenting on Habitat for Humanity's Memory Book. Most of us never met the President in person, but we have all been inspired by his life and service. Share how you've been inspired and read others' stories. #HonoringCarter #PresidentCarter https://hubs.ly/Q030P_4w0

Exciting news, House that Beer Built fans and supporters! 56 Brewing just released a new version of Home Improvements, a limited-edition beer that supports Twin Cities Habitat. ⚒️ Enjoy a delightfully fruity west coast IPA hopped with Erebus, Comet, and Chinook hops. It has a soft bitterness with berry, lemon, and grapefruit notes and finishes with a nice lingering piney flavor. Visit their tap room to try Home Improvements. 🍻 Each purchase supports affordable homeownership—cheers!

It's no secret that the 2024 Carter Work Project happened because of amazing homeowners, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, staff, and other dedicated folks. 🤩👏 During the week, we also used many tools and supplies, from forklifts to bottled water. Read on for a breakdown of many people and partners working together for one shared reason: because every family deserves a place to call home. 💙

In 2024, a volunteer group from St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church helped rehab a home in St. Paul. You may already know that volunteers help build and rehab houses for Habitat homeowners. But what’s unique about this project is that a crew from St. Andrew’s built the very same house in 2002! Two decades later they returned to prepare the home for a new Habitat family. 🏡

This year, Bridgette was able to buy a home through Twin Cities Habitat's new Advancing Black Homeownership Program. Now she has a safe, stable home for her grandson to visit anytime and a home that may one day be his. Bridgette was so inspired by her homebuying experience that she decided to volunteer with Habitat at The Heights in St. Paul—Twin Cities Habitat’s largest development ever. It’s the type of large-scale, transformational development made possible with your support of our Build Forward Together campaign. Help us change more lives. Join Bridgette in giving back today.❤️ https://hubs.ly/Q02_Yyc50 “There’s peace in knowing my family has a safe place in this big old world. You can live anywhere, but when you feel at home, that’s a special thing.” - Bridgette

Thank you, Bremer Bank, for this honor!
In 2020, Bremer joined the Minnesota Business Coalition for Racial Equity, partnering in their work to help build an equitable, inclusive and prosperous state with and for Black residents. Last week, we were honored to present MBCRE’s first-ever Impact Award for Community Leadership to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity at MBCRE’s Impact Awards Luncheon, recognizing Habitat’s creative partnerships, collaboration, and fierce commitment to Black Minnesotans. Congratulations to all the honorees, and to Habitat on this well-deserved recognition!
