"The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit." HELLO, Monday!! In business, growth is not always obvious. It doesn’t always come with a big announcement, a clear milestone, or instant results. Sometimes, it looks like patience, like the small, daily decisions that compound over time. It’s the partnerships built quietly, the lessons learned through setbacks, and the groundwork laid long before the results show. I’ve learned to trust the process, even when the progress isn’t immediately visible. Because real, lasting success isn’t about quick wins—it’s about steady, intentional movement forward. And oh, how we've grown. Come grow with us-either as a client or an agent. 🤝🏼Candice@twistedlandcompany.com 📍Recruiting@twistedlandcompany.com #Monday #Growth #EnergyIndustry #OilandGas #Renewables #WOSB

Our employees aren't children. - Spotify Here’s the harsh truth: If you don’t trust your remote team, the problem isn’t them—it’s you. Think remote work is about working from anywhere? Think again. It’s about something far more important. It's about swapping micromanagement with freedom. It's about trusting and empowering your team. Spotify gets it. They get that freedom sparks engagement. And that engaged teams are high-performing teams. If you’re struggling with remote team dynamics, it’s not the concept that’s broken. It’s the execution. 5 ways to build a remote team that thrives: 1️⃣ Set Clear Goals & Expectations → Everyone understands the mission, regardless of location. 2️⃣ Purposeful Communication → Meaningful check-ins over endless notifications. Quality beats quantity. 3️⃣ Flexibility That Respects Individuality → Ditch the rigid 9-to-5 mindset and let people work when they're at their best. 4️⃣ Focus on Trust, Not Oversight → Focus on results, not micromanaging. Trust adults to act like adults. 5️⃣ Master Asynchronous Workflows → Work shouldn’t be dictated by time zones—it should adapt to them. Why should you care? When employees feel trusted → They bring their best. When communication is focused → Teams stay aligned. When flexibility is valued → Productivity skyrockets. Leaders, here's the bottomline: ➢ A high-functioning remote team isn’t optional anymore. ➢ It’s fundamental to success. Remote work isn’t the future—it’s the now. Do you agree or disagree? The Arctic blast rolled in with a vengeance, blanketing the landscape in powdery mounds of snow that seemed to stretch endlessly, sculpted by the wind like works of art. As we helped a neighbor against the biting cold, a moment of breathtaking beauty unfolded before us. There, standing stoically in the swirling storm, was one of the bison—an enduring symbol of strength and resilience, rooted in the sacred balance of nature. Their calm presence amidst the chaos of the storm reminded us of their spiritual significance on this earth, a bridge between the wild and the enduring spirit of survival. Here at Rocking C Bar, these majestic animals carry a legacy intertwined with our own. Over three decades ago, my father and his ranch took in the bison to which we inherited what was once a large herd displaced by the devastating Arbuckle Mountain fires. They arrived here battered but determined, a testament to their unyielding will to endure. We gave them sanctuary, learning from their quiet strength as we rebuilt their home. But life does not always reflect the peace they embody. Years ago, we experienced a heartbreaking incident that changed everything. Two young boys, raised without the reverence for life these creatures demand, shot one of our oldest bulls. He rested on a snow-dusted mound, surrounded by his herd, and it felt as though even the earth mourned his loss. That moment, witnessed from the highway, was enough to spur us into action. We made the difficult decision to move the herd away from the vulnerability of Highway 69, vowing to keep them safe from harm. Today, these bison remain far from the highway’s reach, their safety prioritized above all. As the snow falls and the storm weaves its quiet spell, they stand as reminders of nature’s enduring power and our responsibility to protect what is entrusted to us. Their story is woven into the fabric of Rocking C Bar, a legacy of resilience, reverence, and the lessons passed down through time—lessons even the coldest Arctic blast cannot erase. Good Morning, #LinkedinFamily What energy are YOU bringing to the table? Is it contagious and WORTH catching? Energy sets the tone. For everything. How you and your team approach projects, clients-one another. It's imperative to set the correct tone, especially at the beginning of the year. 2024 is done. None of us lives there anymore. 2025 is what's here and present. Are you? And what energy and tone have you set? Happy Friday, Y'all!! #Friday #Energy #NewYear #OilandGas #Renewables
"You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems." — James Clear I used to think success—whether in business or life—was about pushing harder, planning more, and grinding longer. But lately, I’ve realized something deeper: the people who thrive, who truly win, aren’t just the most prepared. They’re the ones who show up with the right energy, no matter the occasion. The deals that close, the partnerships that last, the teams that excel—there’s always a common thread. The people involved are fully present, engaged, and bringing the energy of possibility, not just pressure. This applies outside of work, too. Life isn’t just about hitting milestones. It’s about showing up to every moment—big or small—with the mindset that we’re here for it. Here to solve problems. Here to build something meaningful. Here to have fun while we do it. So, as we head into the weekend, ask yourself: Are you just getting through the days, or are you showing up for them? Because the energy we bring shapes everything—from our businesses to our relationships to the opportunities that find us. I know which approach I’m choosing. What about you? #Friday #WOSB #EnergyIndustry #OilandGas #Renewables

Ever planned out the perfect business pitch or a flawlessly productive day? You wake up with an espresso shot of optimism, thinking, "Today, I'm unstoppable!" Then reality waltzes in like a chaotic toddler with sticky hands, and suddenly you're knee-deep in emails, tech glitches, and a meeting that "could’ve been an email." In business, we’re taught to aim high—hit the target, exceed the goals or milestones. But let’s face it: the reality is often a moving target with a mind of its own. On the personal side, expectations can be just as sneaky. Ever started a weekend with a dream of catching up on all the laundry and instead found yourself eating chips in your “laundry day” shirt at 10 p.m.? Same energy. The lesson? Reality rarely aligns perfectly with our expectations, but that doesn’t mean the outcome is a failure. It’s a recalibration. Those curveballs force us to innovate, adapt, and sometimes even laugh at ourselves (because crying doesn’t help with client retention). So the next time reality pulls a fast one, remember this: The most successful businesses and balanced lives are built on managing those detours. Lean in, let go of the perfect plan, and embrace the perfectly real one. Bonus points if you can laugh along the way. #relatable #wosb #laugh #reality #business #growth #future #2025 #land #row #title ** in honor of the article blast here in Oklahoma meet frosty for a visual ** Truly, CC

"Comfort zones may feel safe, but nothing grows there." Monday morning is here, and with it comes a choice—stay where it’s familiar or push into the unknown. In business, just like in life, real progress happens when we take risks, step into challenges, and trust our ability to navigate rough waters. At Twisted Land Company, we don’t believe in playing it safe. We believe in moving forward, tackling obstacles head-on, and creating solutions that make a lasting impact. The question is—are you staying where it’s comfortable, or are you stepping into what you’re truly capable of? It's a new week. And a new year. Let’s get to work. #Monday #Energy #WOSB #Oil #Gas #Renewables

Good Morning and Happy Friday!! As we close out the last week of December, our team is quietly gearing up for 2025. The midnight oil burns bright with this group and we couldn't be more proud. When you can laugh, cry and celebrate with your team-success is inevitable. Cheers to the weekend, folks! #Friday #Energy #TeamWork #Renewables #OilandGas
"Normal is what the majority does, which makes it painfully predictable. Greatness, however, is rarely found in the comfort of conformity." As we close out the last Friday of the year, I can’t help but reflect on how Twisted Land Company has thrived by being anything but ordinary. We’ve embraced a different path—pushing boundaries, challenging conventions, and staying true to our innovative and transparent approach. Normal doesn’t move industries forward, and it certainly doesn’t inspire teams or clients. Being different is what makes us stronger, smarter, and more effective. Here’s to ending the year boldly and stepping into the new one with the same drive to stand out and deliver exceptional results. Happy Friday, y'all!! #Friday #WOSB #YearEnd #Energy #OilandGas #Renewables

This is a fair assessment.
Taylor Sheridan should have asked Google AI: What does a LANDMAN do? A "landman" is a professional who primarily works in the oil and gas industry, responsible for researching property ownership, negotiating leases and mineral rights agreements with landowners on behalf of their company, to secure access to land for exploration and development of oil and gas resources; essentially acting as a middleman between the company and landowners to acquire necessary land rights for drilling operations. Key responsibilities of a landman include: Title research: Examining public records to determine who owns mineral rights on a piece of land. Lease negotiation: Contacting landowners and negotiating lease agreements to gain access to their mineral rights for oil and gas extraction. Contract preparation: Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to land leases and mineral rights. Surface inspections: Conducting physical inspections of land to assess potential drilling locations and surface access issues. Compliance management: Ensuring adherence to local regulations and laws regarding land acquisition and mineral rights. Title curative work: Identifying and resolving any title issues or discrepancies to ensure clear ownership of mineral rights.
