TZMO USA, Inc. is a member of TZMO Group. Manufacturing medical products since 1951, TZMO Group is a leading European manufacturer and supplier of incontinence and sanitary products, skin care, and other medical devices to the global market. Reorganizing your home space can significantly impact the ability for your loved one to age in place safely. What can we do to make a space safer and more accessible? ✅ Provide a clear path to the bathroom. Remove tripping hazards or obstructions such as loose carpets, cables, or furniture pieces that may make the route more challenging. ✅ Ensure proper lighting - bright light, especially on stairs and corridors, is the key to safe movement. ✅ Check that chairs, beds and other furniture are stable and easy to use. Secure loose items such as bedside lamps, that may be grabbed onto if your loved one becomes unsteady. Instead, handrails and non-slip mats can be used to help prevent dangerous falls. There are many things that can be addressed in the home first to help your loved one stay safe at home for longer.
