Fast, emissions-free air travel everywhere.

About us

We are building a family of commercial hybrid-to-electric aircraft with unmatched economics over short-haul (to 1,500 miles), addressing 80% of departures and 50% of aviation emissions today. Our quiet range-optimized propulsion technologies are power source-agnostic, offering carriers an optimal journey to zero emissions across batteries, fuel cells, turbines and synthetic fuels. Our vision is to develop zero-emissions air networks to bring fast and affordable travel to every community. Our planned family of aircraft include business or commuters (ZA10), regionals (ZA50), and single-aisles (ZA100), as well as vertical lift, light attack, and tactical airlift platforms for the military.

Kudos to Zunum Aero's warriors at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP, who took on the goliath Boeing, leading to verdict by Federal jury of willful and malicious theft of trade secrets and tortious interference with Zunum's financing: HSG has won a significant jury verdict against Boeing, one of the world’s largest aerospace companies, in litigation alleging the behemoth stole substantial trade secrets from aircraft startup Zunum Aero, Inc. related to the development of electric and hybrid-electric aircrafts. HSG partner Scott Danner served as lead counsel for Zunum, alongside partner Vincent Levy, associates Brian Goldman, Charlotte Baigent, Benjamin Ahn, and Adam Burton, law clerk Rebecca Kelly, and trial paralegals Michael Brestin and Juliette Berger. The jury awarded Zunum damages of $81.3 million for trade secret misappropriation, and another $11.56 million for tortious interference. The trade secret damages are potentially subject to trebling, given the jury’s finding that Boeing’s misappropriation was willful and malicious.
