U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association is looking for an Associate Director/Director of Regulatory Affairs to support the association’s vision to be the premier advocate, trusted voice, and thought leader for the U.S. tire manufacturing industry. This position will be a part of USTMA’s #Environment, #Health, #Safety, and #Sustainability team (EHS&S). USTMA members demonstrate their commitment to #environmentalstewardship throughout a tire’s life cycle and seek out opportunities for continuous improvement. These efforts include conducting research and investing in development to identify new, more #sustainable tire materials and reducing the #environmentalfootprint of #manufacturing facilities. This position will manage a portfolio of existing and emerging #regulatory issues related to EHS&S, including developing and executing key program elements to support USTMA’s scientific engagement and regulatory #advocacy. We’re looking for a collaborative and experienced #environmentalpolicy and/or regulatory professional with a proven ability to cultivate and manage positive, collaborative relationships with internal team members and colleagues, federal and state agency personnel, academia, and other stakeholders.
