Advancing agrivoltaics and empowering sustainable agricultural integration with solar energy production.

About us

Introducing the United Agrivoltaics Heartland Alliance (UA-Heartland), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing agrivoltaics: empowering sustainable agricultural integration, production, and conservation on solar sites through community engagement, education, research, and industry development. Agrivoltaics can provide solutions to some of society’s most pressing challenges through regenerative agriculture, impacting food security, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, land conservation, farm viability, future agricultural markets, soil health, carbon sequestration and much more. We envision a world where agrivoltaics harnesses the full social, economic and environmental benefits of solar development to increase food security, farm viability, and sustainability. We empower farmers and assist developers in practically integrating conservation and regenerative agriculture into solar energy production. Through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, we strive to foster sustainable practices that enhance both agricultural productivity and renewable energy adoption, ensuring a prosperous and resilient future for our heartland communities and beyond.
