The L. William Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Dayton provides a distinctive approach to university entrepreneurship education. This multidisciplinary entrepreneurship major and program, designed to meet the educational needs of future entrepreneurs, gives students the opportunity to start actual micro-businesses and offers exposure to rapid growth companies and regular contact with successful entrepreneurs. Our many extracurricular offerings are considered among the best in America, our students have opportunities for business consulting, internships, mentorships and student competitions in commercial real estate and business plans. Regularly scheduled luncheons with highly respected entrepreneurs from the greater Miami Valley area add more experiential learning to our academic program. We are consistently ranked by the Princeton Review as one of the best entrepreneurship programs in the nation, from a 2,000 program examination, adding testimony to the character and rigor of our entrepreneurship program.

The Stitt Scholars Program provides students with experiential learning opportunities (paid internships) through collaboration with start-up companies and entrepreneurs at The HUB powered by PNC Bank. Through this program, Stitt Scholars are equipped with employable skills and are given the opportunity to enhance their problem-solving skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. Congratulations to the winners of The University of Dayton's Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Real Estate Competition! First place: Shaun Arif, Garrett Brookman, Michael Jablonski, Jackson Frericks, Jake Medvetz Second place: Catherine Frazer, Patrick Szubryt, Chris Rores, Clayton Nevers Third place: Will Arzola, Andrew Murray, Catherine Rafter A unique opportunity, the competition tasked students with exploring the viability of establishing a Living Learning Community for the 55+ demographic, either on campus or in the surrounding area. The goal was to create a space where seniors could engage with university students while enjoying tailored services and amenities to meet their needs. With a top prize of $7,500 on the line, students engaged in thorough research, crafting professional proposals that delved into the economic impact, financial feasibility, and logistical viability of the proposed senior living community. Thank you to all of the teams for your participation and hard work!
