The recent US Hydrogen and CCUS Delegation to London and Aberdeen fostered valuable conversation and laid the groundwork for future collaborations between the UK and the US. There is urgency to implement Hydrogen and CCUS projects to achieve global net-zero targets.  Collaboration is key to our success.   Engaging with UK policy-makers, regulators, business leaders, community advocates, and trade associations showcased a shared commitment to ongoing cooperation. A networking reception at the Council Hall One Great George Street brought together low carbon leaders from the US, UK, and Canada, with special guest Permanent Secretary Jeremy Pocklington from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, graciously sponsored by Buro Happold. The overwhelming response to this event underscores the power of facilitating connections and uniting stakeholders towards common goals. The US Hydrogen and CCUS delegation had the privilege of visiting Baker Hughes' Subsea Centre of Excellence in Montrose, Aberdeenshire, a shining example of how US companies are investing in the UK’s advanced manufacturing supply chain.
